We want to build a community of like-minded passionate people who also have an appreciation for food that is innovative as well as bursting with flavour. We believe that creating nutrient dense and intentional food brings vitality and balance both physically and mentally.
We also believe in a holistic approach to health and wellbeing and as part of that recognising how we can connect with our environment which includes the food that we choose to consume. As such we want to bring a greater awareness to the source of our ingredients and with it a positive nutrition focus on how we can enrich and enhance our diet.
In essence we celebrate all of the joys of food, using traditional fermentation techniques, inspiration from Ayurvedic principles, and modern flavours to create a blend of tastes designed to bring you vitality and vibrancy.
Meet the Founders
Tenna Anette Schreinert
Tenna has an insatiable passion for innovation in health and well- being as well as actively looking to support a sustainable food system.
Having 15 years of working in the field of functional and integrative nutrition, fermentation, detoxification, raw foods, superfoods, and alternative medicine Tenna wholeheartedly embraces innovation and creativity. She cites Gabriel Cousens, M.D. and David ‘Avocado’ Wolfe as two of her key mentors.
Being the first to introduce water kefir into the UK market, Tenna built up a hugely successful business from a start-up to fruition - Purearth life is currently leading the field in the area of functional food and drinks.
Having lived in several parts of the world, including Africa, India and Europe, and experienced diverse diets and environments, Sunil is passionate about bringing innovative plant-based food to health-conscious consumers. He co-founded Vekitchen, a plant-food based restaurant, on Northcote Road in London.
